Email Marketing Specialist
We’re looking for a creative and energetic full-time Email Marketing Manager to join our team with a deep passion for Email and SMS marketing. We need a lifecycle marketing expert to develop and execute integrated email, SMS, and loyalty programs that drive higher engagement, retention, and ROI with our clients. You should have strengths in automation building, design, copywriting, segmentation, AB testing, data analysis, and creative thinking.
Roles and Responsibilties
- Define and drive email marketing strategy for the clients
- Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel – marketing calendar, strategy, and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing, measurement and reporting
- Build and manage automated email marketing programs for our clients and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement
- Design emails alongside our creative team to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails
- Report and provide recommendations on the email performance
- Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize the email marketing program
- Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with our entire agency and clients
- Vocal on client accounts and department meetings
- Comfortable pushing back on strategy to clients
- Actively identifies opportunities to improve product/service beyond their accounts
- Always looking for areas of improvement and problem solving within their channel
- Consistently identifies cross-channel strategies/collaborations on accounts to improve performance
- Consistently hits channel's goal across all accounts or recommends strategic pivots to increase channel's performance
- Continuing to develop deliverability, segmentation, and forecasting knowledge
- Continue to develop product offerings, identify opportunities to improve the department, and actively share insights with the team
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in email marketing production and end-to-end campaign management
- Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
- Hands-on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo and MailChimp
- Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy, and design approaches
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding
- Proficient email copywriting and design
- Ability to audit any prospective client's lifescycle strategy
- Advanced knowledge in using analytical tools necessary for channel performance and reporting

- This is not going to be a remote role. The HQ is based in Venice, Los Angeles, CA.
- Office Hours Monday through Thursday 9:30am-6pm with Fridays Remote/WFH
